Answer: Ria should take ₹200 for her contribution out of ₹320 paid by Kia.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total volume of petrol= 16 litres
Contribution by Ria= 10 litres
Contribution by Sia= 6 litres
Contributing Ratio between Ria and Sia= 10:6≈5:3

Now, this volume of petrol is shared equally among them and filled in their vehicles respectively.
Share of petrol for each one of them= 16/3
= 5.333 litres.

Now, since Kia paid ₹320 for her share of petrol
∴ Per litre price of petrol= 320/5.333
= ₹60/litre.

Now, the amount paid by Kia will be shared by Ria and Sia in the ratio 5:3
∴ Their share:

Ria= \frac{5}{8}×320
= ₹200
Similarly, Sia= \frac{3}{8}×320
= ₹120

∴ Ria should take ₹200 as her contribution out of ₹320 given by Kia.
