Skin prevents the pathogen entry because of (d) All of these.

  • The dead cells of the skin which forms the outer layer of body of an organism which act as a physical barrier and prevents the entry of pathogen.
  • Skin secrete oil from sebaceous gland which makes the outer surface of body of an organism moisturize and oily which traps the pathogen and prevents its entry into the organism body.
  • Skin secrets sweat due to which the outer surface become acidic in nature which can act as physical barrier by making the surface unfavorable for the pathogen to survive which prevents the entry of pathogen.
