Answer:

Let their present ages be 5× & 3×

So,

After 6 yrs.

Age of A = 5× + 6

Age of B = 3× + 6

But, a/q, their ages will be in the ratio 7:5 respectively

So,

5× + 6/ 3× + 6 = 7/5

5(5× + 6) = 7(3×+6)

25× + 30 = 21× + 42

25× - 21× = 42 - 30

4× = 12

× = 12/4

× = 3

Therefore,

Age of A = 5× = 5 * 3 = 15yrs.

Age of B = 3× = 3 * 3 = 9yrs
