naugarh distance travel in the first case is L is equal to 39 metre so in the next case also it will be L which is equal to 39 metre

by formula method

s = vt - 1/2 at^2 (for 1st one hour)

s= 39

v=0

t= 1

so -39×2 = a

now s = ut+1/2at^2 (for next 1 hour)

s=?

t=1

u=0

so s = -1/2×(2×-39) × 1^2

so s=39
