Answer: Dantidurga was a Rashtrakuta chief in Deccan initially. Rashtrakuta were the subordinate to the Chaulukyas of Karnataka Dantidurga in the mid 8th century overthrew his Chaulukyas overload and performed a ritual known as hiranyagarbha.
