(16,x,34) is a pythagorean triplet.

TO FIND:

x=??

LET 16 BE MIDDLE TERM AND X BE THE LARGEST TERM...

SO,

=>If (16, x, 34) is a Pythagorean triplet, find the value of x.

$$\begin{gathered}{x}^{2} = > {16}^{2} + {34}^{2} \\ {x }^{2} = > 256 + 1156 \\ {x}^{2} = > 1412} \\ \sqrt{x} = > 37.5\end{gathered}$$.

x = 37.5 .

Given :-

  • (16,x,34) is a Pythagorean triplet.

To Find :-

  • The value of x.

Solution :-

Let "x" be the Middle Term and "34" be the Largest Term.

Applying Pythagoras Theorem,

=> x² = 16² + 34²

=> x² = 256 + 1156

=> x² = 1412

=> x = √1412

=> x = 37.5 (Approx)

Hence,

  • The value of x is 37.5 .
