temperature of x = 98.4 F

temperature of y = 36.9 C

step 1  = convert y's temperature into Fahrenheit...

formula - C * 9/5 = F

36.9 C * 9/5  = 103.1 F

therefore....

X's temperature in Fahrenheit = 98.4 degrees

Y's temperature in Fahrenheit = 103.1 degrees

thus , we can conclude that -

"X has lower temperature than Y" OR statement "B" is correct....
