Given:-

  • Work Done ,W = 160 J

  • Force applied ,f = 20 N

To Find:-

  • Distance moves by object ,s

Solution:-

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀According to the Question

It is given that the work done on the object is 160 J when force of 20 N is applied on the object . We have to calculate the distance travelled by the object .

As we know that Work Done is calculated by the product of force and distance .

  • W = Fs

where,

  • W denote work done
  • F denote force
  • s denote distance

Substitute the value we get

:\implies 160 = 20 × s

:\implies 160/20 = s

:\implies s = 160/20

:\implies s = 8 m

  • Hence, the distance covered by the object is 8 metres .

Given:

  • Work done = 160J
  • Force applied = 20N

To find:

  • Distance (s) through which the object moves.

Solution:

As we know,

  • Work = Force × Distance

Therefore,

➟ 160 = 20 × s

➟ 160/20 = s

➟ s = 8m

  • Hence, the distance through which the object moves is 8m.
