Answer:

Two bodies A and B start to travel from the same point on a straight road at an average speed of  30Km/h and 50Km/h  respectively. A starts at 8am and B starts 3 hours later. The time when B meets A is 3.30 PM

Explanation:

The average speed of A is V_A=30km/h

The average speed of B is V_B=50km/h

A starts at 8AM and B starts at 11AM (3 hours later)

Let's assume that after 11AM B has taken x  hours to catch A

Distance traveled by  B when it intercepts A is d=V\times t=50\times x km

at the time the distance traveled by A is d=30\times 3+30\times x

the distance traveled by A and B will be the same at the point of meeting

\begin{array}{l}50x=90+30x\\20x=90\\x=4.5hrs\end{array}\begin{array}{l}\\\\\end{array}

After 4.30 hrs they will meet so the time of the meeting will be 11+4.30=3.30 PM
