4(4x²- 12x + 9)

now apply ax²- bx + c

4x²- 12x + 9

(split 12x into 2 parts)

4x²- 6x - 6x +9

3x(2x - 3) - 2(2x-3)

(3x-2) (2x-3)

(according to (a -b) (x-y) = a(x-y) - b(x-y)

now let's take the 4
