Explanation:

Given  A car of mass m is driven by power P = kt, where k  is a constant and t is time. If car starts from rest,  then force acting on the car at time t is

  • The rate of change of kinetic energy is power.
  • So P = dK / dt
  • Where dk is change in kinetic energy and dt is interval of time.
  • So P = dw/dt
  •        W = PT
  •             = 1/2 mv^2
  • So v = √2Pt / m
  • Acceleration a = dv / dt
  •                       = √2P / m x 1 / 2 √t
  • Now force f = ma
  •                   = √2km^2/m x 1/2√t
  •                  = √km / 2t

                 = √mk / 2 t^-1/2
