17. A square shaped paper with a particular area is cut completely into 100 pieces of paper
with measures of 2 cm x 1 cm. If the same paper will be cut completely with the measures
of 4 cm x 2.5 cm, then how many pieces of paper, one can cut?​

so we have to find the no. of pieces a paper can be cutted into small pieces with the dimensions 4×2.5

Given:- no. of pieces = 100

area of small piece= 2×1= 2 cm^2

area of sq. sheet = total area of all pieces = 200 cm^2

Now:-

no. of pieces = total area \ area of one piece

area of one piece= 4×2.5= 10 cm^2

no. of pieces = 200/10 = {20 pieces } ANS
