Answer:

(i) Odd -

Outcomes = 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 = 9

P(E) = 9

17

(ii) A prime -

Outcomes = 2,3,5,7,11,13,17 = 7

P(E) = 7

17

(iii) Divisible by 3 -

Outcomes = 3,6,9,12,15 = 5

P(E) = 5

17

(iv) Divisible by 2 and 3 both -

Outcomes = 2,3,4,6,8,9,10,12,14,15,16 = 11

P(E) = 11

17

*Here Outcomes refers to the possibilities and P(E) is the probability with respect to the occuring event.

Hope it helps!!
