Given : Aditya saw a creeper on the wall of his grandmother's house which was in the shape as shown in the figure.

To Find :  How many zeroes does the polynomial (shape of the creeper) have?

Solution:

polynomial (shape of the creeper) cuts the x -axis two times

Hence  polynomial (shape of the creeper) have   2 Zeroes

cut x axis  at   2  and  - 3

Hence zeroes  are  2 , -  3

Polynomial =  k (x - 2)(x -(-3))

= k (x - 2)(x + 3)

= k(x²  + x - 6)

x = 0  y = - 6

=> -6 = k ( 0 + 0 - 6)

=> k = 1

x²  + x - 6 is the polynomial

shape represents a Quadratic  polynomial

x²  + x - 6 is the expansion
