Solution :-

Perimeter of rectangular field = $\sf{2(l+b)}$

Perimeter of rectangular field =$\sf{2(10m+8m)}$

Perimeter of rectangular field = $\sf{2(18m)}$

Perimeter of rectangular field = $\sf{36m}$

Now the cost of fencing the rectangular field at the rate of 5 per metre

= $\sf{Rs(36×5)= Rs180}$
