 \blue{ \bf\underline{\large {Distance \:  Formula : }}}

 \boxed{ \bold{ \large \sqrt{ {(x2 - x1)}^{2}  +  {(y2 - y1)}^{2} } }}

Here ;

(x1,y1) = (2,3) \\ (x2,y2) = (4,1)

That is :

x1 = 2  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  x2 = 4 \\ y1 = 3 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  y2 = 1

Substituting the given values in the equation;

 \sqrt{ {(4 - 2)}^{2}  +  {(1 - 3)}^{2} }

 \sqrt{ {(2)}^{2} +  {( - 2)}^{2}  }

 \sqrt{4 + 4}

 \sqrt{8}

 \sqrt{4 \times 2}

 \boxed{2 \sqrt{2} }
