QUESTION:-

If a salesman sells goods worth 20,000, he earns a bonus of 1% of the value sold by him. For selling goods for  the next * 10,000, he gets a bonus of 2% for the additional goods sold. He gets a bonus of 4% for the next  10,000 worth of goods sold. Find the earning of the salesman if he sold * 40,000 worth of goods.

TO FIND:-

the earning of the salesman

SOLUTION:-

commission upto 10000 = (10000 * 9 ) / 100

                                          = 900

Again after 10000,

Commission : Bonus

9 : 3

3x : x

Bonus = (1380 - 900) * (1/4)

             = Rs.120

                    Hope it helps :D
