The speech was given by Gandhiji.

  • Gandhiji was a courageous, sensitive and nobleman and had done his best for the Indian Freedom struggle.
  • During a prayer meeting two days before his death, Mahatma Gandhi said these lines. He told the people that if anything happens to him no one shall shed a tear.
  • The speech had a sensitive yet heroic element attached to it. Gandhiji was shot in the year 1948. It was because of his deeds that he is referred to as Father of Nation.
