v = u + at
where
V = final velocity i.e. 0
U = Initial velocity
A = Acceleration i.e. (-3 m/s2) ( As the vehicle is retarding )
T = time i.e. 15 seconds
v = u +at
0 = u + (-3) * 15
-u = -45
u = 45 m/s

Answer will be 45m/s
By the formula V=U+at
0 = u+(-3m/s^2)×15sec
-u=-45m/s
U=45m/s
