Given :-

  • d = -4

  • n = 7

  • \sf\ a_{n}= 4

Answer :-

  • 28

Solution :-

As we know that ,

\bf{\underline{\boxed{\red{\ a_{n}=a+(n-1)d}}}}

  • Now put the given value in this formula , and then find the value of a for this A.P

\implies\sf{4=a+(7-1)(-4)}

{}

\implies\sf{4=a+(6)(-4)}

{}

\implies\sf{4=a-24}

{}

\implies\sf{a = 4+24}

{}

\implies\sf{a = 28}

{}

So, the A.P starts from 28 , means the first term of A.P is 28

\bf{\underline{\underline{\green{Related\: Points}}}}

★ a is the first term of the A.P

★ d is the common Difference between terms

\ a_{n} is the last term of A.P

★ n is the number of terms in A.P
