Given :-

  • In triangle ABC,

  • ∠ ACB = ∠ CDA

  • AC = 6cm

  • AD = 3 cm

To Find :-

  • Length of AB.

CALCULATION :-

In triangle ABC and triangle ADC

  • ∠ ACB = ∠ CDA [GIVEN]

  • ∠ CAB = ∠ CAD [COMMON]

  • ⟼ ∆ACB ~ ∆ADC [AA SIMILARITY]

\rm :\implies\:\dfrac{AC}{AD}  = \dfrac{AB}{AC}

\rm :\implies\:\dfrac{6}{3}  = \dfrac{AB}{6}

\rm :\implies\:AB \:  =  \: 12 \: cm
