17. In the figure, ten circular portions of land each of radius Im planted with different types of flowers are in an equilateral
triangular garden. Area except the circular portion is covered with grass.


On the basis of the above information, answer the following questions :

(i) A boundary wall of height 30 cm is to be made around the garden leaving a space of 2 m wide for a gate on the side. The
estimate length of boundary wall is :
(a) 20 m

(d) 28 m.

(ii) The approx. area of the boundary wall is :
(a) 7.8 sq m
(b) 8.4 sq m

(iii) If the cost making wall per square metre is 120 (including material and labour cost), the approx.. expense of making
the boundary wall is :
