PS=60cm, then find the value of AB=?

AB = 49 ans

PQ = 11 cm

PS = 60 cm

PR = 61 cm because (11,60,61 are triplets)

radius of the circle

r = area / semi perimeter of circle  

r = (60x11/2)/(11+60+61)/2

r = 660/132

r = 5

let circle touch PQ at T

then QT = radius of circle

and PT = PQ - QT = 11-5 = 6

and PT = PA .. tangent to the circle from a point.

similarly other circle touch RS at U

then RB also equal to 6

now AB = PR - PA - PB

AB = 61 - 6 - 6

AB = 49 ans

Given :  PQRS IS A REATANGLE PQ= 11CM, PS= 60CM

To Find :  VALUE OF AB

Solution:

Let right top circle touching PS at M  &  SR at N

PB = PM    Equal Tangent

SM  = SN Equal Tangent

PS = PM + SM = 60

=> PB + SN  =  60

RS = RN + SN = 11

RN = RB

=> RB + SN = 11

PB + SN  =  60

RB + SN = 11

=> PB  - RB  = 49

Similarly we can Show that

  RA  -  PA  = 49

PA + AB - RB =  49      PB = PA + AB

RB + AB - PA  = 49      RA = RB + AB

Adding Both

2AB = 98

=> AB = 49
