Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. Of apples be=x

And the no. Of orenges be =y

Total cost=(10x+6y)Rs

Total frofit=396

Now he made a profit of 15%over apples and 8%profit over orenges...

Total profit=(10x*(15/100)+6y(8/100))Rs

=(150x+48y)/100.

Now...

(150x+48y)/100=396

150x+48y=39600

I think some more informations are needed like...

What was the total cost of the fruits....

Otherwise it can't be solved.... We need an equation more.....

Guys please comment what do you think?
