2( length + breadth)

2(100+70)=2(170)=3490 m

Next we should find the perimeter of semicircles,

2×22/7×35=220

as we have to find out the running track we should not add it's breadth ,

so, the perimeter of the track will be 3490+220-140=3570 m

So, the athlete will cover 3570
