1. The weight is the gravitational force with which a body is attached to the Earth (planet/moon) Weight of any object on earth depends on two factors mass and gravitational constant. As per law, W = mg where, g is gravitational constant 9.8 m/s/s Eg.

2. As you move towards the higher altitude your weight changes but the mass remains the same. This happens because the gravitational pull varies subtly as you move around the surface of the Earth, as the altitude and topology also varies.
