x.As triangle has 3 sides. it's base is given. And because it is an isosceles triangle the remaining two sides will be of equal length.
So let assume the two sides to be 2x.
Perimeter of triangle= Sum of length of all the
sides.
12 + 2x = 32
2x = 32 -12
2x=20
x = 20/2
x = 10 cm.
So length of two sides is 10 cm and one side.ie
base 12 cm.
Area of triangle without height.
S = a + b + c /2( Where a,b and C are the sides of the triangle).
S= 12+10 10/2
S= 32/2
s= 16 cm
Area of triangle =√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c).(Put the values and find out the answer then you will find the answer..
