The diameter of a circular placemat is 30cm = 300 mm

.°. Radius (r) of the circular placemat is = 300/2 = 150 mm

We know that,

circumference of circle = 2πr

.°. the circumference of the circle = 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 150

= 6600/7 cm

= 943 mm (approximately)

.°. the circumference of the circle is 943 mm (approximately)
