this answer was said by Ramanujan.
It is the smallest number that can be expressed as the sum of two cubes in two different ways.
1) cube of 1 + cube of 12 = 1729(1+1728)
2) cube of 10 + cube of 9 = 1729(1000+729)

There are two different ways are: 1729 = $1^{3}$ + $12^{3}$ = $9^{3}$ + 10...........
