Distributive Property :

Equation after arranging like terms together :

 18\times(-3)+(-18)\times(-2)

 = 18({-3}+{2})

NOTE :

HERE FROM BOTH THE SIDES OF '+', WR TOOK OUT 18 COMMON.

SINCE, IN THE SECOND SIDE WE HAVE (-18) HENCE, WHEN WE TAKE OUT 18 COMMON, WE ARE LEFT WITH (-1) AS
(-1)\times(18) = -18

HENCE, TO GET 18 COMMON, -1 IS LEFT AND WHEN (-1) IS MULTIPLIED BY (-2), WE GET (2) AS '-'×'-' = '+'

HENCE, ON SOLVING FURTHER,

= 18{(-3)+(2)} WE GET

= 18{(-1)}

= -18 .

-----------------------------------------

Alternative method ;

= 18 × (-3) + (-18) × (-2)

= -56 + (+36)

= -56 + 36

= -18.

Hence, From both the methods, we get same answer ;)
