Explanation:

Initial velocity (u) =0 km/h

Final velocity ( V) = 36 km/h

Time taken (t) = 10 sec

= 10/60×60 h

= 1/360 h

Acceleration (a) =V - u/t

= 36 - 0/1/360

= 36 ×360

= 12960 km/ h^2

ANSWER:

  • Acceleration = 1m/s^2

GIVEN:

  • Initial velocity = 0 m/s
  • Final velocity = 36 km/hr
  • Time = 10 sec

TO FIND:

  • Acceleration (a)

SOLUTION:

Firstly we have to change 36km/hr not m/s.

 = 36 \times  \frac{1000}{3600}  \\  = 36 \times  \frac{5}{18}  \\  = 10ms {}^{ - 1}

Formula

 \implies \: a =  \frac{v - u}{t}

Putting all the values we get;

 \implies \: a =  \frac{10 - 0}{10}  \\  \implies \: a = 1ms {}^{ - 2}

NOTE:

some important formulas

 \implies \: a \:  =  \frac{v - u}{t}  \\  \implies \: s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} at {}^{2}  \\  \implies \: v {}^{2}  - u {}^{2}  = 2as
