A sells articles to B at profit of 5% = 105%.

B sells articles to C at profit of 20% = 120%

C sells articles to D at profit of 25% = 125%

It is said, A's percentage of profit sold directly to D.

=> x * (105/100) * (120/100) * (125/100)

=> 1.575 x

A's percentage of profit = 1.575 times.
