18.(a) What will be the co-ordinate of a point P if it lies on x − axis
and is at a distance of 4 units from y − axis to its left. Also find the
co-ordinate of Q that lies above x − axis lying on y − axis at a
distance of 6 units from origin.
(b) Find the distance of the point A (-3,-2) from x − axis and B(5,-3)
from y − axis.

Answer:

c answer is

Step-by-step explanation:

first first of all absicissa means x-axis and ordinate means y axis. so 4 is x and 7 is y now multiply 4 into minus 1 and 7 into minus 5.

so you will get - 4 and - 35. show minus x and minus y lies in the third quadrant.

is a second question we have to do like this if we have to use the distance formula then my answer is correct but if something different I don't know
