18 bikes in a track.4 more blue bikes than yellow bikes and 2 less yellow bikes than green bikes. how many bikes of each colour are there

let the no. of yellow bikes be x
then the no. of blue bikes = (x+4)
and the no. of green bikes = (x+2)

now,
x+x+4+x+2=18
3x+6=18
3x=18-6
3x=12
x=12/3
x=4

so,
no of yellow bikes=4
no of blue bikes =(4+4)=8
no of green bikes =(4+2)=6
