Inside water a unique orientation forms clusters of molecules in which the hydrophobic tails are the interior of the cluster and the ionic ends on the surface of cluster . ..... The soap molecules has two different ends with posses different properties..

One end of the soap is polar head Wich is called hydrophilic head.

The other end is non polar tail which is called hydrophobic tail.

Polar head has affinity towards the water molecules while non polar tail being hydrophobic and has no affinity towards water molecules.

When soap is dissolved in water the polar head dissolves in water while the non polar tail remains outside the surface of water.

As a result spherical Micelles are formed....
