Solution :

let the 10 ohm resistor x R_1 and 20 ohm resistor R_2

let the current in 10 ohm

resistor be 11 and current in 20 ohm resistor be in reading of ammeter be 1

1 = 3.0 ohm

11 = IR_20 /(R_1 + R_2)

= 30 x 20/(10 + 20)

= 60/30

= 2A

current flowing through R_1 is 2 amp

2 = 1R_1/(R_1 + R_2)

= 3 x 10 /(10 + 20)

= 30/30

= 1 amp

=> Current flowing through R_2 is 1 amp
