Step-by-step explanation:

z = 62° + 49° = 111° ( vertically opposite angles are equal)

Now, angel CAD = 180°

(because CD is a line. and lines make 180° angle)

z + 3x = 180°

=> 111° + 3x = 180°

=> 3x = 69°

=> x = 23°

And, 3x = y ( because vertically opposite angles are equal)

=> y = 3x = 3×23° = 69°.

So, x + y + z = 111° + 23° + 69° = 203°

Answer:

CD is a straight line,

therefore,y+62+49=180

=y+111=180

=y=180-111 = y=69

Same as EF is a straight line,

therefore,3x+49+62=180

=X=23

again CD is a straight line,

therefore,z+3x=180

= z= 111

according to question,

x+y+z=69+23+111

=203
