In the Balanced Wheatstone Bridge, the needle of the Galvanometer is not deflected from the neutral position.
- A balanced wheatstone bridge consists of four resistance placed at four sides of a square in between two terminals such that ratio of adjacent resistance will be equal.
- In that case , the Galvanometer connecting the intermediate terminals do not show any deflection.
- This means that current does not flow through the galvanometer. Hence, its called balanced.
