Given :

  • Diameter of Cylinder is 2 m .
  • Height of Cylinder is 3.5 m .

To Find :

  • Lateral Surface Area of Cylinder .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Radius=\dfrac{2}{2}=1\:m}

\longmapsto\tt{Height=3.5\:m}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{L.S.A\:of\:Cylinder=2\pi{rh}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2\times\dfrac{22}{{\cancel{7}}}\times{1}\times\dfrac{{\cancel{35}}}{10}}

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{{\cancel{2}}\times{22}\times{{\cancel{5}}}}{{\cancel{10}}}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{22\:{m}^{2}}

So , The Lateral Surface Area of Cylinder is 22 m² .

Answer:

Given :-

  • Diameter of the cylinder = 2 m
  • Height of the cylinder = 3.5 m

To Find :-

LSA

Solution :-

We know that

LSA = 2πrh

qq

At first

⟹ R = D/2

⟹ R = 2/2

⟹ R = 1 m

Now,

Putting value

⟹ LSA = 2 × 22/7 × 1 × 3.5

⟹ LSA = 2 × 22/7 × 1 × 35/10

⟹ LSA = 2 × 22 × 1 × 5/10

⟹ LSA = 44 × 1 × 1/2

⟹ LSA = 44/2

⟹ LSA = 22 m
