If 18 binders bind 900 books in 10 days, then how many binders will be required to bind 660 books in 12 days.

☛ To Find :-

No. of binders will be required to bind on book in 12 days

➻ Solution :-

W₁ / M₁ × D₁ = W₁ / M₂ × D₂

900/18 × 10 = 600/M₂ × 12

6M₂ = 66

M₂ = 66/2

M₂ = 11

⛬ No. of binders to be required = 11

More days, Less binders (Indirect proportion)

Books 900:660 Days 12 : 10 }⋮⋮ 18:x

Therefore, (900 * 12 * x) = (660 * 10 * 18)

=> x = 11
