Let CP=x

Loss=8%

SP=92%×x=0.92x

If she had bought it at $10\% $$ less 

Then new CP=90%×x=0.9x

According to the question 

SP=102%×0.9x

0.9x+176=1.2×0.9x⟹x=1100

Hence, cost price of the pressure cooker=Rs.1,100.
