→ The alternate interior angle to ∠6 = ∠3 (c)
(ii)
→ The corresponding angle to ∠1 = ∠5 (b)
(iii)
→ ∠4 = 120°
so,
→ ∠4 + ∠6 = 180° { Angle between parallel lines on same side of transversal are supplementry. }
→ 120° + ∠6 = 180°
→ ∠6 = 180° - 120°
→ ∠6 = 60° (d)
(iv)
→ ∠3 + ∠5 = 180° (a) { Angle between parallel lines on same side of transversal are supplementry. }
(v)
→ ∠5 = ∠4 { Alternate interior angles }
→ ∠5 = ∠4 { Vertically opposite angles }
So,
→ ∠5 = ∠4 and ∠8 (c)
