1. The small white structures coming out of a seed are called sprouts. These are the result of germination of the seed. Under necessary conditions required for survival and reproduction, the seed produces a sprout which indicates growth of a plant from it. These sprouts grow into new plants.

3. It has a tap root because of reticulate venation with leaves of the gram plant.
4. Germination is the process by which an organism grows from a seed or similar structure.
