Answer:

hey here is your answer

pls mark it as brainliest

so here we go

Step-by-step explanation:

let the required fraction be x/y

wherein numbmerator be x and that of denominator be y

so according to first condition

x=y-4 (1)

according to the second condition

x+1/y+1=1/2

so 2(x+1)=y+1

ie 2x+2=y+1

so 2x=y-1 (2)

substitute value of x in (2)

we get

2(y-4)=y-1

ie 2y-8=y-1

ie y=7

substitute value of x in any of two equations

you get x=3

thus our assumed fraction=x/y

=3/7

thus the required fraction is 3/7
