In 2014 population is 20,000

it decreases at the rate of 5%

so in 2015 decrease in population = 5/100×20,000=1000

so remamining population is 20,000-1000=19,000

In 2016 decrease in population is 5/100× 19,000=950

so the remaining population at the end of 2016 is 19000-950=18050
