18 ) The velocity of a body increases , at a constant rate ,from 10m/s to 25m/s in 6 minute. Find the acceleration and the distance travelled.​

A=1/24m/s square; S = 5.4km

Explanation:

u = 10m/s

v=25m/s

t = 6 * 60s= 360s.

i)    a =(25-10)/360 = 1/24m/s square.

ii)   S=ut+1/2at square

     = 10*360+1/2*1/24*360^2

     =  3600+1800

     =5400 m

     = 5.4km.  

Therefore    a = 1/24m/s square; S = 5.4km
