Answer:

hey dude here's your answer....

Let the speeds of the vehicles be v km/h, and 8 v/9 km/h respectively.

The distances covered in seven hours when these meet are 7 v km and 56 v/9 km, such that

7 v + 56 v/9 = 565, ==> 7v ( 1 + 8/9) = 565,

==> (17×7/9) v = 595; ==> v = (595×9/119)= 45 km/h.

So speed of one of the automobiles is 45km/h, and the speed of the second one is = 45×8/9= 40 km/h.

or

Speed of first automobile is suppose v

So speed of other automobile is 8v/9

Since they are moving in opposite directions so relative speed = v + 8v/9 = 17v/9

So we can write 595/17v/9 = 7

So v = 595*9/(17*7)

So v = 45km/h

speed of other automobile = 8v/9 = 40km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

Acc to Question.

7x+56 x/9 =595

63x+56 x=595 * 9

119x=595*9

x=595/119 *9

x=45

speed of first car

=45 km/hr

speed of second car

=45*8/9

=40 km/hr
