a) Adam's apple:

The Adam's apple is a lump of cartilage that sticks out from the throat. It is more prominent in males, and it serves no specific function. A person can remove or change the size of their Adam's apple with surgery. Adam's apples develop during puberty and are not present in prepubescent children.

b) Secondary Sexual characters:

Differences in size between sexes are also considered secondary sexual characteristics. In humans, visible secondary sex characteristics include pubic hair, enlarged breasts and widened hips of females, and facial hair and Adam's apples on males.

a) Adam's apple is the developed voice box in males . It appears in adolescence age. It is thyroid cartilage which changes to noticable bigger sized Adam's apple ,when boys reach at their puberty . This is because of their increase in testosterone hormone levels.

b) Secondary sexual characters are all these changes which comes during adolescence age in both males and females. Some examples are : Formation of Adam's apple in male , menstrual cycle in female, appearance of pubic hairs in both etc.
