⇒18x +16x² =22
⇒2(9x + 8x²)= 22
⇒8x² + 9x -11 =0
it is identical to ax² +bx +c=0
Let α and β be roots
Discriminant , D = b² - 4ac = 81 +352 = 433
roots, α =(-9 +√433)/16
β = (-9 -√433)/2
⇒18x +16x² =22
⇒2(9x + 8x²)= 22
⇒8x² + 9x -11 =0
