So, the number became (10x + y)

Given that,

x+y = 9 - i

And,

(10x +y) - 27 = (10y + x)

10x + y - 27 = 10y + x

10x - x + y - 10y = 27

9x -9y = 27

9(x-y) = 27

x-y =3 -ii

On adding equation. i and ii , we get

2x = 12

x = 6

so, y = 3

Hence, the number is 63
